An article in the North Kitsap Herald mentions that Peninsulas’ 2-1-1 has received the “Best of Bremerton” award for Information and Referral services.

Peninsulas’ 211 has been selected for the 2008 Best of Bremerton Award in the Information & Referral Services category by the U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA). Peninsulas’ 211, formerly United Way InfoLink, provides comprehensive information and referral services for Kitsap, Clallam, Jefferson, Mason, Grays Harbor and Pacific counties. Supported by Kitsap, Clallam, Mason, Grays Harbor United Ways and Jefferson County Good Neighbors Fund, 211 is an easy-to-remember, three-digit number providing local residents needed health and human services information. The call center is located at Kitsap Mental Health and is a partnership with Kitsap Mental Health’s Crisis Clinic and is one of six call centers that provide information and referral services throughout Washington state.
