The severe weather shelter program will be operating Nov 1st - Mar 31st in Kitsap County. This shelter is available for single adults, parents with children, families, and teens. The location of the shelter is at the Bremerton Foodline, 1600 12th St in Bremerton (one block south of the Bremerton High School).
The shelters will open if it is expected to be 32 degrees or lower for four or more hours; if one inch of snow is expected; or if one inch of rain is expected between noon and 6 a.m. the next day. The determination is made by the Dept. of Emergency Management.

Offers free immunization at local food banks from Oct 28th - Nov 5th. The immunization is called Twinrix, which immunizes against seasonal flu, and Hepatitis A and B. Please bring insurance card if you have one. If you have questions please contact nurse Beth Phipps at (360) 307-4809.

Beginning March 15th Walgreens is threatening to stop filling Medicaid prescriptions. If your local Walgreens store does not fill your prescription you may visit one of the other local pharmacies listed.
